A Full Range of Behavioral Health Services in Sacramento, CA

Complete and supportive mental health treatment is readily accessible at Sierra Vista Hospital through a variety of methods offered by our trained staff. We deliver a full range of behavioral health services in Sacramento, CA, for adults and adolescents.

Our services are focused on those who are dealing with acute behavioral or chemical dependency issues and are in immediate crisis. Everyone who receives treatment at our hospital is assured the highest level of service delivered with the same combination of dignity, respect, and quality of care that we would expect to receive ourselves or for one of our family members.

Options for Everyone

We provide both inpatient and outpatient programs so we can be as responsive and accommodating to our patients as their needs dictate. In this way, we can address their primary symptoms through individualized psychiatric treatment plans.

Through these plans, we focus on skill building and coping mechanisms that lead the patient to stability and positive mental health. If required, we may also provide medication management. A no cost, confidential patient assessment administered by a member of our staff is used to determine which level of treatment we should offer to our patients.

Following treatment, we work with our patients to help them step down to less intensive care so that they can maintain their health, ensure long-term recovery, and minimize the risk of a relapse.

Working to Solve Addiction Issues

As part of our services, we focus on eliminating substance abuse through programs such as our alcohol addiction treatment plan. It is offered to all patients, adults, and adolescents who may be struggling with this type of dependency. We also provide this type of treatment, or chemical dependency assistance, for those who are dealing with a dual diagnosis, (co-occurring disorders).

Inpatient Stabilization Unit (ISU)

Our 23-hour crisis stabilization unit is designed to alleviate the strain on the emergency department and provide a safe environment for people suffering from a mental health crisis.

Helping Our Youth

We work with adolescents in the age range of 13 to 17 who are facing behavioral health disorders or a dual diagnosis, which sees them dealing with co-occurring chemical dependency and behavioral health disorders.
